This primary hybrid is a cross between S. fimbriata and S. longifolia and produces the showiest flowers and inflorescences of the genus. The flowers are small and purple, but each inflorescence can grow over 2 feet tall and produce over a hundred flowers at a time! The foliage is quite attractive as well with dark green polka dots. This plant will go dormant around December after flowering, where the leaves will die back to the ground then reappear several months later.
