Stenoglottis longifolia

An uncommon terrestrial orchid native to southeastern Africa, where it grows in partial shade. They produce many adorable little flowers on tall, erect inflorescences. As the name implies, they have long leaves (for the genus) and make an impressive display once several growth points are growing together. These can be grown in most household conditions and even outside in mild climates. 

Plants in the genus Stenoglottis go dormant for several months. Keep them lightly damp during dormancy and evenly moist during their growing phase.
