An interesting species from the Philippines (hence the name). It seems to be rather weedy in the wild, creating massive plants that take over trees. In cultivation, these were shockingly difficult to acclimate from import but are finally starting to grow nicely. Treat them like a mirabilis that can handle anything from lowland temps to cooler intermediate. Not one you see for sale often, and this will be our only one available!
